BECOME A FRIEND OF NELLIE KEYES PARK: CONTRIBUTE TO THE MAINTENANCE FUND

The Rice Military Civic Club, in partnership with the Houston Parks and Recreation Department, assists in maintaining the park. The City of Houston mows the park every 21 days during the growing season. The Civic Club coordinates mowing of the park in between the city schedule so the park is mowed every seven (7) days. Funds raised are also used for dog bags, mulch, tree replacement, fertilizer and trace mineral supplementation, maintenance and other miscellaneous expenses.

2024 Annual Fundraising Goal

The Civic Club's goal is to raise $3,500 for park maintenance this year. We rely on the generous contributions of wonderful neighbors and events like the Annual Garage Sale.

So far, we've been able to raise $2,830 this year. Thanks to everyone who contributes to help us reach our goal!
